Hear ye, hear ye… read all about it!  John Simpson just published “Marinas Falling in Value” in the Trends section of Boat & Motor Dealer magazine (the December 2008 edition).  I won’t steal the thunder except to say that I cover marina market value changes, cap rate changes, supply/demand, the effect of the credit crunch, clean marinas, boat dealership and entitlement demand, industry employment, capital improvements and solutions to the problems faced by marinas.  Quite a mouthful, I know.

Remember, editing can happen.  Many of our solutions to the problem were cut, so look here for more solutions.  Although property values are falling, the opening up of the credit markets will stabilize the values.
